Abstract. 50 patients received surgical treatment (Total laryngopharyngoesophagectomy with simultaneous esophagopharyngeal reconstruction by isoperistaltic gastric tube) in the period 1992-2013 in the thoracic surgery department of Tatarstan Cancer Center. Complications in postoperative period were revealed in 27 (54%) patients. Postoperative mortality was 20%. After the received surgical treatment average life period was 25,6 (±3,4) months, five year survival rate — 13,8% (±7,9).
