Abstract.The steady increase in the number of malignant tumors in terms of late diagnosis and decrease in number of medical treatments of the disease requires addressing the severe category of patients. This is due to the fact that a radical cure amenable to only a small proportion of cases, most of whom are patients with early-stage disease. Great attention to the problems of oncology dictated by their great social significance, because leading cause of death due to cancer in all highly developed countries currently occupy 2-3 places. This is due to the recognition of the fact that none of the existing methods of cancer treatment can not be considered radical. The article presents data on the amount of care of cancer patients with palliative care, organization with Kazan State Oncological Dispensary in 1993 (in GAUZ «RKOD MZ RT» since 1998).
