Abstract. This study demonstrates the results of the complex treatment of 63 patients with squamous cell uterine cervix cancer stage IIB. In the preoperative period all patients received a combination of the combined radiotherapy (distant + intracavitary) and intravenous administration of the cysplatin with Wertheim surgery. On the stage of the preoperative chemoradiotherapy 36 patients (among 63 patients) were treated with transrectal insufflation of the ozone-oxygen mixture as a radiomodificator. Besides, the original technique, and hardware and software implementation of the pulsoximetric assessment of the oxygenated tumor were used. During postoperative period a comparative analysis of the medical tumor pathmorphism, the number of the side effects of the chemoradiotherapy and postoperative complications was conducted. The undoubted benefits of the usage of the ozone-oxygen mixture in the complex treatment of the patients suffering from squamous cell cervix cancer were proved.
