REDOX-DEPENDENT PROCESSES IN THE ERYTHROCYTES OF CERVICAL CANCER PATIENTS AFTER FEMTOSECOND LASER IRRADIATION

Abstract. The effect of different doses of the femtosecond laser radiation on redox-dependent processes and rigidity of the membrane of red blood cells in different clinical stages of cervical cancer was evaluated. A significant increase in MDA after irradiation of donors' and patients' at Ib-IIa stages of the disease red blood cells in the energy flux density of 0.1, 0.29 and 0.96 J / cm I was established. Activity of antioxidant enzymes: superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione reductase after irradiation of donor erythrocytes was not significantly changed. Changes in the activity of the enzymes in red blood cells of cervical cancer patients were dependent on the radiation dose and clinical stage of the disease. The rigidity of the membrane of donors' and cervical cancer patients' red blood cells increases after the femtosecond laser irradiation.
